The deadliest battles ever! "Are you buying or selling?"
While traversing Altaris, trainers may find an occasional opponent who takes their battles further than most-- to the death. These battles can usually be retreated from before they start, but if you don't retreat? One-on-one, no items, to the death. Losing one of these battles will kill your Pokémon, rendering it unusable for the foreseeable future, but you're welcome to give it a second attempt.

Win? You get credits to spend at a Supplier, and you may get either an item from the loser or they'll let you through to the prize they were guarding. It could be a held item, evolutionary stone you can't get at that point otherwise, a TM, or even a Pokémon egg. Are you willing to risk your Pokémon for these prizes?

Scattered across the Altaris Region are individuals looking to buy and sell Pokémon. These Pokémon are specifically bred to be auctioned off like this, and should you have the credit with these Suppliers to do so, you can even ensure the Pokémon you receive is exactly to your specifications.

Though certainly shady and very illegal within Altaris, any trainer can work their way into this market simply by offering their own Pokémon to these breeders. After all, this particular part of the Circuit is all about give and take. The trafficking of Pokémon is against Altaris law, but you can't prove what these people are doing without taking part in the illegal activities yourself.
