Unique choice of Pokémon!
Professor Spruce offers a rather unusual selection of Pokémon for you to choose at first to start your journey. Rather than the standard selection of a Grass, Fire, and Water-type, your options consist of the Normal-type Eevee, the Fighting-type Mienfoo, and the Psychic-type Solosis. Perhaps not what you were expecting, but each is prepared to join you on your journey and prove their worth.
That said, you're also required to capture the Pokémon of your choice. Fortunately, they're well behaved, so you'll have no trouble with this.

The Evolution Pokémon
Eevee is reportedly native to the Kalos Region and is an invasive species released into other areas by humans, due to its popularity as a luxury pet.
Evolves into one of several Pokémon through various means.
